The Central Election Committee of Belarus held a meeting on February 3rd, local time, and Karpenko, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), announced the final vote count results of the presidential election held on January 26th. Current President Lukashenko received the support of 86.82% of voters and was officially elected as the new President of Belarus.
